I feel helpless, what can I do?

Advocate for change
Go to protests, speak up, lend a hand. Wear your identity loud and proud. Spread love, not hate.
Spread awareness
Every post you share on social media is bound to reach at least one person. Keep talking about Lebanon, about Arabs, about our culture. Your voice matters!
Take care of yourself
If you're a mess, how can you help others? It's okay to take a break, to take a breath, and to cope in your own way. We each have different coping mechanisms. Be better, so that you can do better.
Be there for your family and friends
Both Lebanese in Lebanon and in the diaspora are struggling and in pain. Some physically and everyone mentally. Check up on your friends and family. Be there for each other. Be kind to each other. It's not the time to divide, we need to unite.
Who should I donate to?
This is a list of NGOs and people on the ground that we recommend. Although vetted by members in our community, it's always good to double-check. Please let us know if you have any other NGOs you recommend, or if you see any red flags with these suggestions.
